More about the show
The Kent Country Show
Quintessentially British Events was founded in 2008 by the Edmundson family. It is a family run Company. It is run by Paula and Guy Edmundson and their daughter Annabel works with them full time and their other daughter Sophie part time. They are backed up by a fantastic team in the office, Kathy, Sonia and Hazel and their show team of 25 people at the shows. They pride themselves at keeping their tickets as low and affordable as possible to enable people to visit the show and enjoy what they offer. The Shows definitely offer something for everybody with a lot going on and most of it for free once you have paid to enter the show.
Whether you are a Country Show fan, an avid foodie, dog lover, want loads for the kiddies to do, love living history or simply want a fun filled day out, our shows are for you. Join us to support small producers and handmade with some wonderful shopping experiences. Watch and admire the Rural Crafters demonstrating all day and making some pretty amazing things, or why not enter your dog into our Dog Shows. There is also something for every music lover at our events. Enjoy some lunch whilst listening to some fabulous music.
We have a variety of entertainment within our shows to keep people of all ages occupied with excellent main ring attractions, celebrity chefs, some wonderful and unique children’s attractions, living history, model aeroplanes, tractors, classic cars, horses, and much, much more.
We hope to see you at the Kent Country Show, so save the date and join us for a great day out for the family.
Quintessentially British Events prides itself on supporting a number of Charities every year.
In 2021 we bought over 800 Christmas presents for children in Suffolk Children's Homes and families that were unable to afford Christmas presents.
We supported East Anglian Greyhound Rescue, Suffolk Animal Rescue, Doodles Trust Rescue amongst others and raised at our shows in the Dog Area over £12,000 for these rescues.
We donated to the Salvation Army and Shelter and Driving for the Disabled giving them their bales of hay and straw for the horses.
